Move towards
people.
You have more to give than you havebeen asked for, I teach you how to.

Not the money, the giver, or what comes back to you
The person in front of you. That's the idea. Everything else is application.
A skill I could pass on.
I grew up in the Chick-fil-A world. An operator showed me how to serve people in a restaurant. Hospitality became something I could learn and practice because someone took the time to teach me.

See.
You can't move towards someone you don't see.

My first boss took a chance on me during a hard season. He gave me a job, then said those five words. Years later, I still carry them.
Generosity reached me long before it became my work.
I ask people for money for a living. It's often the only one of the nine they've been asked to give. I've also met people with skills, connections, and experience they want to share. Often, they need help finding where to begin.
Those possibilities, and the people who first showed them to me, are why I write and teach.
